Approval is recommended to issue a purchase order to Transamerican Power Products, Inc., in the amount of $629,882.00, for steel transmission poles to be installed as part of the construction of the new transmission line that will run from Substation A to Substation M for the Power & Light Department.

10-020 - 2R. An ordinance authorizing a contract with Burns and McDonnell for engineering services on the Little Blue Parkway Phases 9 and 10 for an amount not to exceed $729,812.00, authorizing administrative approval of change orders not to exceed $72,900.00 or for time adjustments, and making the necessary appropriations.



10-021 - 2R. An ordinance authorizing an Agreement with the Mid-America Regional Council for a Regional Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy Project, utilizing Department of Energy funding through Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants.

Project No. C09-231-70400703, for the full sum of $109,792.00, and authorizing the City Manager to approve future minor change orders in a total amount not to exceed $10,979.00, and/or for time extensions.



10-502 - An emergency ordinance approving the Final Plat of Olivia's Place, a residential subdivision located south and east of E. 36th Street Court S. and north and east of S. Crackerneck Road. Case No. 10-320-01.



10-503 - An emergency ordinance correcting five legal descriptions that were approved December 21, 2009, as Ordinance 17466 for acquiring general utility easements for the construction, operation and maintenance of a transmission line designated as the Substation “A” to Substation “M” transmission line Project No. 70210817.

Emergency Purchase Order 130402 was issued to Electrical Power Products, Inc., in the amount of $29,248.00 for new relay and control panels at Substation N for the Power and Light Department.

A twelve-month agreement to provide medical director services has been executed with Dr. Duncan, with the option of two additional one-year renewals.

Change Orders 6 and 7, in the amounts of $2,000 and $10,000 respectively, were issued to Purchase Order 128661, for additional transmission repair services for the Public Works Central Garage.  The current purchase order issued to Certified Transmission is $25,700.  The new purchase order total is $37,700.
