  1. Approval of minutes for the Regular Meetings on April 1, 2019 and April 15, 2019.

  2. Council action is requested to approve a contract with the Independence Chamber of Commerce for the license of the Independence Square public area for the Santa-Cali-Gon Festival from August 30, 2019 through September 2, 2019.

  3. Council action is requested to issue a purchase order to HDR Inc. for $94,850.00, for a Master Plan Update for the Water Pollution Control Department.

  4. Council action to award a purchase order to Solomon Corporation, in the amount of $907,730.00, for the rebuild of two transformers at Substation E for the Power & Light Department.

  5. Council action to issue a purchase order to Graybar, in the amount of $90,862.78, for miscellaneous pole line hardware for the Power & Light Department.

Case 19-100-04, a request from Victor Arreola to rezone the property at 1026 E. 23rd Street S from R-12, Two-Family Residential to C-2, General Commercial, was advertised for a new information only public hearing at the May 6, 2019 City Council meeting. The proposed zoning was changed to C-3 by the applicant and the new information only public hearing was continued to May 20, 2019. At the April 23, 2019 Planning Commission meeting this case was continued to the May 14, 2019 Planning Commission meeting and the new information only public hearing before the City Council is now scheduled for June 17, 2019

  4. The City Clerk's Office is in receipt of the Independence Events Center Community Improvement District's amended 2018-2019 budget and amended proposed 2019-2020 budget.
