Reports and Recommendations of the City Manager

  1. Approval of minutes for the Regular Meetings on January 2, 2018 and January 16, 2018.

  2. Council action is requested to approve a contract with The Wilson Group, Inc., in the amount of $63,453.00 for the Police Building Retaining Wall Project.

  3. Council action to issue Change Order 2, adding $22,500 to Purchase Order 141178 to Plante Moran PLLC, for additional consulting services for the Utility Billing Enterprise Replacement system. This change order will bring the total amount of the purchase order to $79,425.

  4. Council action is requested to enter into a price agreement (100-18) with SHEDIGSIT, LLC for water service line repair for one year with the possibility of two one-year extensions.  Expenditures will not exceed budgeted amounts.

  5. Approval is recommended to amend the Schedule of Fees for the City of Independence related to animal control and lodging permits, to be effective February 6, 2018.

  6. Council action is requested to approve a contract with the Independence Chamber of Commerce for the license of the Independence Square public area for the Santa-Cali-Gon Festival from August 30, 2018 through September 3, 2018.
