Reports and Recommendations of the City Manager

  1. Council action is requested to issue a purchase order to SKC Communications, in the amount of $66,447.50 for Avaya Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Upgrades for the Tech Services Department.  Expenditures will not exceed budgeted amounts.

  2. Council action is requested to issue a purchase order to Burns and McDonnell, in the amount of $325,000.00, for the completion of an Energy Master Plan Study (2017-18).

  3. Council action is requested to enter into a price agreement (220-17) for general plumbing services for City buildings, for the period of November 21, 2017, through October 31, 2018. The agreement contains two, one-year renewal options.  Expenditures will not exceed budgeted amounts.

Council action is requested on the application received from Chandra Surya, LLC to transfer the existing Intoxicating Liquor in the Original Package and Sunday Sales License from 7-Eleven Sales Corporation to Chandra Surya, LLC for 7-Eleven Store #24442E, a convenience store with gas sales, located at 17801 East US 24 Highway.  This application requires a two-third majority vote for approval due to residential property being located within three hundred (300) feet of the establishment.
