  1. Approval of minutes for the Regular Meetings on October 2, 2017 and October 16, 2017.

  2. Approval is recommended to amend the Schedule of Fees for the City of Independence to adjust permit fees for health inspections to coincide with the recent revision of City Code Chapter 11.

Council action is requested to issue purchase orders in the total amount of $544,279.41 to Murphy Tower Service, Commenco Technology Solutions and Motorola Solutions for a Communications Tower, 911 System Equipment relocation and for radio system equipment for the Independence Communications Center Project for the Police Department.

  4. Council action is requested to issue a purchase order to Ditch Witch Inc., in the amount of $80,840.88, for a FX50 Vacuum Excavator for the Power and Light Department.

  1. Emergency purchase order 146540, in the amount of $60,000.00 was issued to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) to repair street damage due to a water main break for the Water Department.

  2. Emergency change order #1, in the amount of $90,843.10, was issued to Scobee Powerline Construction LLC for additional emergency restoration services from the July 2017 storm. The original purchase order (146323) was issued in the amount of $35,000.00. The new purchase order total is $125,843.10.
