1.

Approval is requested on the application from Missouri CVS Pharmacy, LLC to transfer their existing Retailer of Intoxicating Liquor in the Original Package License and Sunday Sales License to the CVS Pharmacy #8564 located at 17301 E US 24 Highway. This application requires a two-third majority vote for approval due to residential property being located within three hundred (300) feet of the establishment.

Approval is recommended to issue a purchase order, in the amount of $59,208.06, to Vermeer Great Plains for an industrial vacuum excavator for the Power & Light Department.

Approval is recommended to issue a purchase order, in the amount of $50,516.00, to Storage Battery Systems, Inc., for battery and charger replacement at Substations A & K for the Power & Light Department.

Approval is recommended to issue a purchase order, in the amount of $85,000.00, to Prestige Crane Service to assist with a project at Substation I for the Power & Light Department.

Approval is recommended to enter into a price agreement (268-12) with USIC Locating Services, Inc., to provide underground utility locating and marking services for the Water, Water Pollution Control and Power & Light Departments. This is a one-year agreement with four, one-year renewal options. Expenditures will not exceed budgeted amounts.

12-109 - 1R. An ordinance authorizing an agreement with the Service Employees International Union, Local No. 1 Missouri Division, Service, Maintenance and Clerical Bargaining Unit, for the term of May 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013. Made an emergency ordinance at the meeting.



12-519 - An emergency ordinance authorizing the borrowing of $84,960,000 from the Missouri Development Finance Board in connection with the refinancing of certain costs related to construction of a multipurpose events center and redevelopment costs described in two separate tax increment financing plans previously approved by the City; approving the form of and authorizing the execution of three supplemental financing agreements relating to such projects with the Missouri Development Finance Board; providing for the administration of certain special allocation funds previously created by the city; and prescribing other matters relating thereto.
