An ordinance finding, determining and declaring the necessity of acquiring General Utility Easements and Temporary Construction and Grading Easements for the Bellevista Neighborhood Channel Improvements, Project No. 70130602; authorizing the negotiation and eminent domain proceedings if necessary; approving the plans and specifications for the project; authorizing the use of experts as needed; authorizing and directing the execution of documents and the payment of funds to property owners or others holding property rights, in conjunction with the project.

12-076 - 2R. An ordinance amending the Stay Well Open Access Health Care Plans 1 and 2 document by adding 100% coverage for certain generic drugs and prescribed over-the-counter products effective January 1, 2013.



12-077 - 2R. An ordinance levying a tax on all real property subject to taxation on January 1, 2012, within the corporate limits of the City of Independence, Missouri, for general revenue and public health and recreation purposes, and for the Independence Square Special Business Benefit District; said levies and assessments being separate and distinct, all for the fiscal year commencing on the 1st day of July, 2012, and ending on the 30th day of June, 2013.



12-078 - 2R. An ordinance approving a Special Use Permit to construct and operate a car wash in a C-2 (General Commercial) District for the property located generally at the northeast corner of U. S. 40 Highway and South Cochise Court. Case No. 12-200-02.



12-079 - 2R. An ordinance authorizing acceptance of a grant in the amount of $200,000.00 from the Missouri Department of Transportation for reimbursement of overtime for the Police Department for Sobriety Checkpoints and DWI Enforcement from October 1, 2012, to September 30, 2013; authorizing future change orders, extensions, amendments or addendums for additional funding for the same project; and making the necessary appropriations.



12-080 - 2R. An ordinance authorizing execution of a certain license agreement between the City and Geraldine Williams, and Ruth and Gary Hewitt for the placement of a retaining wall over a sanitary sewer easement at 807 S. Sterling, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri.



12-081 - 2R. An ordinance authorizing an Amendment to Senior Center Services Agreement with the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) extending the performance of services for the Nutrition Site Program at the Palmer Center through June 30, 2013, for a $25,000.00 reimbursement for the 2012 and 2013 Fiscal Years.
