1.

Approval is recommended to issue a purchase order, in the amount of $54,340.00, to Trench Limited for four (4) type TEHMF161 Capacity Voltage Transformers (CVTs) for the Power & Light Department.

Approval is recommended to issue a purchase order, in the amount of $75,660.00, to Kut Kwick for a commercial slope mower for the Power & Light Department.

Approval is recommended to enter into a price agreement (234-12) with Central Power Systems & Service, for generator maintenance services for the Power & Light Department, for the period May 9, 2012, through March 31, 2013. The agreement includes two, one-year renewal options at the sole option of the City.  Expenditures will not exceed budgeted amounts.

ORDINANCES

12-034 - 2R.  An ordinance approving the 2012-13 Annual Action Plan for Program Year 38, approving projects and programs within the plan, authorizing application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development for Program Year 38 (FY 2012-2013) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and Home Investment Partnership Act (HOME) funds; authorizing execution of a written agreement and acceptance of CDBG and HOME program funds under the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and making the necessary appropriations.



12-035 - 2R.  An ordinance amending the Zoning District Map as to the tract of ground located at 4545 Trace Park Court from O-1 (Office-Residential) to C-2 (General Commercial) in Independence, Jackson County, Missouri. [Case No. 12-100-01]



12-036 - 2R.  An ordinance authorizing a contract with V.F. Anderson Builders for the Little Blue Parkway, Phase 10 project, for an amount not to exceed $3,859,395.14; authorizing minor change orders for an amount not to exceed $385,000.00 and/or time extensions; and making the necessary appropriations.

An ordinance authorizing a contract with Builders Development Corporation, a regional nonprofit housing developer, in an amount not to exceed $400,000.00, for acquisition and redevelopment of vacant foreclosed residential properties for single-family home ownership, lease-purchase or rental utilizing Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 funds.

An ordinance ratifying the disposition of certain real estate acquired for rehabilitation and resale through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program; authorizing and directing the execution of documents; and providing for the receipt of the sales proceeds as program income by the Neighborhood Stabilization Program.



12-044 - 1R. An ordinance authorizing a lease agreement with the State of Missouri for radio antennas and associated communications equipment space at the Massman Radio Tower site.
