CONSENT AGENDA
Reports and Recommendations of the City Manager
1.

Approval is recommended to issue a purchase order, in the amount of $74,800.00, to Lutz Daily & Brain, LLC, for engineering services related to chlorine water treatment replacement for the Power & Light Department.



2.

Approval is recommended to enter into a price agreement (117-12) with S&S Lawn, for lawn care services for the Power & Light Department for the period April 1, 2012, through March 31, 2013.  The agreement includes two, one-year renewal options at the sole option of the City.  Expenditures will not exceed budgeted amounts.



3.

Approval is recommended to modify Price Agreements 180-09 with Graybar Electric, H.D. Supply, Kriz-Davis and Voss Lighting, for 11 groups of utility hardware items for the Power & Light Department. This modification will add two additional one-year renewal options for the period July 1, 2012, through June 30, 2014. Expenditures will not exceed budgeted amounts.




ORDINANCES

12-021 - 2R. An ordinance authorizing Change Order No. 1 to the contract for the 35th and Northern storm sewer project with V.F. Anderson Builders for an increase of $51,176.00.



12-022 - 2R. An ordinance authorizing an intergovernmental agreement with the Thirty-ninth Street Transportation Development District to formalize the relationship between the City and the District.



12-023 - 2R. An ordinance finding, determining and declaring the necessity of acquiring temporary construction and grading easements for the Fairmount Multi-use Trail (Arlington Avenue / Morrell Avenue to Davis Park), Project No. 70110807; authorizing the negotiation and eminent domain proceedings if necessary; approving the plans and specifications for the project; authorizing the use of experts as needed; and authorizing and directing the execution of documents and the payment of funds to property owners or others holding property rights, in conjunction with the project.



12-024 - 2R. An ordinance finding, determining and declaring the necessity of acquiring general utility easements and temporary construction and grading easements for the Lakeview Farm (31st and Linwood) Storm Drainage Improvements, Project No. 70130902; authorizing the negotiation and eminent domain proceedings if necessary; approving the plans and specifications for the project; authorizing the use of experts as needed; authorizing and directing the execution of documents and the payment of funds to property owners or others holding property rights, in conjunction with the project.

12-028 - 1R. An ordinance authorizing the removal and destruction of approximately 160 cubic feet of Municipal Court records that have met all requirements to be eligible for such destruction and are the subject of Circuit Court Administrative Order No. 2012-183.



12-505 - An emergency ordinance authorizing Amendment No. 1 to a contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, increasing the funding, for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Grant to $121,901; authorizing future change orders; appropriating the necessary funds.



12-506 - An emergency ordinance authorizing a contract with the Missouri Foundation for Health, in the amount of $239,490.00, for the Social Innovation for Missouri (SIM) Grant; authorizing future change orders; and appropriating the necessary funds.
