Approval of the ordinance is recommended.
Engineering work is being prepared for the Jackson Drive Extension project from M-78 Highway to Truman Road. The new street alignment will cross the middle of one property. This ordinance will authorize the City to purchase this property.
The Jackson Drive Extension project will be a new street east of Holke Road between M-78 Highway and Truman Road. Burns and McDonnell is preparing the project engineering work. The new street alignment crosses through one property, which will need to be acquired. This ordinance will authorize the purchase of this property for the project. There will be another land acquisition ordinance for the project as the other needed right-of-way or easements are defined. There are sufficient project appropriations to purchase this property.
