1. 269 – Laboratory Assistant – B28

Reclassify position title and pay grade of one (1) position

1. 615 - Administrative Specialist III (Mayor’s Staff) – B32 to 615A – Executive Assistant to Mayor – B33

Add position title of Laboratory Assistant (part-time) with a pay grade of B28. This position is located in Water and will not add to the table of organization. This position will replace the current funded part time Laboratory Technician position. The part time Laboratory Assistant will perform the required testing for the drinking water supply on the weekends and help fill in during the week for additional testing and time off for the full time Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Supervisor.

Reclassify position title and pay grade of 615-Administrative Specialist III (Mayor’s Staff)–B32 to 615A–Executive Assistant to Mayor–B33. Assessment of the Administrative Specialist III (Mayor’s Staff) job summary and essential job functions were discovered to be identical to the Executive Assistant to City Council position. Therefore, a reclassification of the position title and pay grade are being recommended.
