Council action is recommended to approve a change order to the contract between the City and Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. in the amount of $103,420.00 to provide engineering and inspection services on the construction of the new Truman Rd. Booster Station at 8609 E. Truman Rd.
Recommendations:

Council action to approve a change order.
Background:

The City contracted with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. in May 2018, to provide a design, engineering plans and construction specification for the building of a new Truman Rd. Booster Station at 8609 E. Truman Rd. The purpose of this change order is to add to the number of professional service hours for the contract for allowing for inspection services and the review of submittals for the construction of the Truman Rd. Booster Station.

 

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. will provide review of construction submittals and inspection of the construction of the new Truman Rd. Booster Station and oversee the start up of the station once construction has been completed.

 

The projected cost includes an estimated 460 hours over the course of approximately 10 months.

Approval of this change order authorizes the Procurement Manager to issue further change orders up to a total of (10) percent of the purchase order total, so long as appropriations are available,
