The Rock Creek Neighborhood Storm Drainage Projects consist of drainage improvements at eight individual sites. The consultant and staff evaluated all sites and identified solutions to address site specific issues. Methods consisting of green infrastructure practices, storm infrastructure removal to re-establish ditching, stormwater infrastructure installation, and increasing the numbers of storm structures were used to help capture stormwater and improve conveyance. This project includes installation of over 1,500 cubic yards of embankment, 1,974 linear feet of various sized stormwater pipe and box culverts, 18 stormwater structures, 312 square yards of pavement repair, 331 cubic yards of gabions, and all appurtenant work for the completion of the project.
