Approval of the ordinance is recommended.
In support of the Trinity Woods Development, the Developer has requested that the City vacate an abandoned portion of an existing Sanitary Sewer Easement.
In support of the Trinity Woods Development, the Developer has requested that the City vacate an abandoned portion of an existing Sanitary Sewer Easement. The Sanitary Sewer Easement was granted by Tri-City Ministries to the City of Independence on January 29, 1988 and recorded at Book 1784, Page 1307 of the Jackson County, Missouri Deed Records. Vacation will allow for full development of the property. Plans for construction will be submitted by the developer to the City in accordance with the City’s standard development policies and procedures. Improvements will be constructed by the developer and inspected by the City.
No work will be required by this request and a fee of $300 was collected to offset the cost of processing the Vacation Request.
