Recommendations:

Staff recommends approval of this Resolution.
Executive Summary:

The following adjustments are recommended to the Pay Plan:

1.       Animal Field Services Manager – Level Increase

2.       Horticulturalist – Level Increase

3.       Human Resources Manager – New Position Added

4.       Maintenance Supervisor-Water – Existing Position Added

5.       Museum Collections Manager – Level Decrease

6.       Program Specialist – Level Increase & Class Code Correction

7.       Right-of-Way Specialist – New Position Added

8.       Tourism Volunteer and Historic Site Manager – Position Added & Title Change

9.       Worker’s Compensation Coordinator – Existing Position Added

10.   General Manager/Deputy Director of Power & Light – Title Change

11.   Municipal Judge – Level Decrease

12.   Presiding Judge – Level Increase

13.   Executive Assistant to Mayor – Class Code Correction

14.   Executive Assistant to the City Council – Class Code Correction

Background:

A new Non-Represented Pay Plan was adopted in June and effective July 1, 2018.  Since that time, HR has received recommendations regarding changes to the adopted Pay Plan.  Future recommended changes will be taken to Council on a quarterly basis.
