The Police Department first received funding to participate in the Midwest HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) for this Analyst position in April 2012. The department is reimbursed 100% of the analyst’s salary, benefits and travel expenses. The current contract will continue the Department’s involvement with Midwest HIDTA, with total reimbursement of $ 67,244.00. This grant does not require a local match. |

Fiscal Impact:
An appropriation of $67,244.00 will need to be made to the Police Department Operating Budget. No local match is required, and the grant does fully cover the cost of this position.
The current award amount of $67,244.00 will need to be appropriated to the Police Department’s Operating Budget, subledger ISC-G, and should be divided as follows:
4550-5100 (Salaries) - $45,974.00
4550-5109 (Benefits) - $20,270.00
4550-5218 (Travel) - $1,000.00
TOTAL: $67,244.00
