Executive Summary:

An emergency ordinance approving the Final Plat of Voorheis Vale PUD – 12th Plat, Lots Q10, Q10-L, Q10-R, Q11, Q11-L, and Q11-R, at 4758/4760/4762/4764 S. Union Avenue.  Case No. 18-320-02.

Background:

Walker Custom Homes seeks final plat approval for the 12th plat of Voorheis Vale PUD.  Four dwelling units on two lots are being platted in this phase.  The buildings on both lots have recently been completed, or are near completion. The dimensions of the four dwelling units are created via an as-built survey of the building’s poured foundation.  After this plat is recorded, the dwelling units will be conveyed to the respective unit purchasers with the common ground around the units being conveyed to the subdivision’s homeowners association.

This development is a continuation of the Voorheis Vale project which started in 2005, was dormant for several years but has restarted under a new developer.  All the streets and utilities in the project are constructed and in service.

Planning Commission minutes are available in the Community Development Department.

Emergency Justification:

Council mandates that all final plats are to be emergency ordinances to expedite the development process.
